How will the ultimate W-Icon be chosen?
- Each federation will put forward one WI member to the NFWI Board
- The Board will choose the top ten finalists and the eventual winner will be picked by
the judging panel made up of the following:- Singer and professional gardener, Kim Wilde
- Ex Blue Peter presenter, Janet Ellis
- Singer, Cerys Matthew
- Restaurateur and chef, Pru Leith
- NFWI Board representative
- Sky representative
- Iconic WI member and Calendar Girl, Angela Baker
Members of the public will also be encouraged to vote for their favourite WI member from the top ten finalists.
What happens next?NB: The closing date for all entries is Friday 15th August 2008.
